Andrew Haythorpe Managing Director
Mr Haythorpe is a Geologist by profession and has been associated with the Mining and Exploration sector for over 20 years. He gained experience in evaluating the technical and financial aspects of mining projects while working as a mining analyst for Suncorp, County Natwest and Hartley Poynton, and then as a Fund Manager with Bankers Trust.
Previously Mr Haythorpe has served as Managing Director of Michelago Resources and Crescent Gold and as non-executive Chairman of Aurox Resources.
He is currently the Managing Director of Liberty Resources Ltd.

Jake DeBoer General Manager
Jake has over 26 years in the Fertiliser and Coal Gasification industries and held Senior positions in Perdaman Chemicals & Fertilisers, GHD Oil and Gas and Sasol (Technology) in South Africa. He specialises in unconventional energy project development, and has led front end definition of various coal gasification based projects across Australasia and Africa. At Perdaman, he was responsible for technical, environmental and project requirements for the $3.5 billion, 2 mtpa Urea Collie Coal to Urea project in Western Australia.
Jake’s Qualifications combine a M Eng (Chemical Engineering) with a BCom.

Claus Wohlert-Jensen Chief Technical Officer
Claus is a mechanical engineering postgraduate qualified, rotating equipment engineer, with over 30 years local and international experience in the oil and gas industry. His experience started with Shell International Petroleum as Project Engineer and more recently as Rotating Equipment Specialist for Worley Parson Fluor Amec – Woodside Enfield Project, Tiga Joint Venture – Conoco Phillips Bayu Undan Project and Carigali – PTTEPI Operating Company CPOC.

Scott Cross Corporate & Policy Development
Scott Cross has over 12 years experience in the finance industry. Initially commencing his career in stock-broking and financial services, Scott subsequently took a position in Toronto Canada, where he was contracted to the VC Industry. Today, Scott maintains a strong network in the Canadian Market.
Scott has a strong understanding and substantial experience in debt, equity and derivatives markets. Scott expertise is demonstrated in his regularly presentations at industry and client conferences on behalf of the Macquarie business unit.
Whilst at Macquarie, Scott established a significant network throughout the bank both on the Retail and Investment Bank sides of the Group. His domestic and international networks allowed him to facilitate deals and to promote stock, deals and trades via the intermediary and Institutional advice sector.
Scotts Experience is a valuable part of the Liberty team in the establishment, financing and commissioning of Liberty’s project ambitions.

Tim Jones Exploration Manager
A Senior Geologist with both a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology (BSc) , as well as a Master of Science in Geology (MSc Prelim), Mr Jones is also a qualified Site Senior Executive (SSE) in Queensland and a Competent Person (CP) under the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (JORC Code, 2004 edition).
Mr Jones has over 20 years Australian and International exploration and mining experience most recently with Stanmore Coal Ltd and previously Linc Energy Ltd where he gained invaluable UCG experience. At both companies he built and lead exploration teams which drilled up significant coal deposits in the Surat, Bowen and Galilee Basins. His extensive experience in Queensland coal geology and exploration positions him well to lead Liberty’s exploration and development of coal deposits.
Eoghan Cunningham Project Geologist
With a B.Sc in Earth and Ocean Sciences and a Masters in Geographical Information Systems Eoghan joined the Liberty Team as our Graduate GIS Officer and has subsequently taken the role of Project Geologist. Working closely with Government Departments Eoghan reports on our tenement status, work and expenditure commitments.
Eoghan is also involved in Environmental, Land Access, Native Title and Cultural Heritage issues with Liberty’s Queensland Tenements.
Eoghan is building on his knowledge of Queensland ‘Legislation/ Policies/ Guidelines’ and literary reviews of past projects in Queensland as well as field experience with managing all aspects of geological exploration field operations under the guidance of the exploration manager.

Shadi Rawas Engineer
Shadi has come from the Oil and Gas industry. Shadi has been taking care of the technical details of the company‘s planned UCG operations. At Liberty he is responsible for Technical requirements of UCG namely panel design and layout, equipment specification, technology scouring, liaising with manufacturers, vendors, technology providers, and drilling contractors.
As part of his duties, he also keeps an eye out for other company’s announcements, technical breakthroughs, or other areas of expertise that could be used to facilitate UCG
Qualifications include: Bachelors Degree (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering, and a Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering

Karl Cahill Business Development
Mr. Cahill has seventeen years of comprehensive and varied experience within the United States and Canadian financial sectors, with recent focus on investor relations and transaction-related consulting.
Prudential Financial, Merrill Lynch and Salomon Smith Barney are among the financial institutions he has worked for as a sell side broker. More recently Mr. Cahill acted has as a consultant to emerging public Biotech/Tech. & Resource companies advising on IR, debt & equity financing, RTO’s, etc. He did his undergraduate studies in Finance at the University of Westminster London, England. He speaks fluent English, German and French.
Rusty Mark Special Consultant for ISCG
Rusty Mark comes from a strong innovation background in environmental, safety and energy technology development with more than 20 years experience in technology development and implementation including ten years with CSIRO. He was one of the founding partners and GM Business Development for Carbon Energy, a listed Underground Coal Gasification Company.
He has extensive experience leading the project development and approvals processes in the coal, gas and energy industries including some of Queensland’s first CSG and gas fired power projects, and most recently the Carbon Energy UCG project. Rusty is the recipient of the CSIRO Medal for Business Excellence for his role in commercialising UCG technology.
